Steamed Seafood Feast

One of my summer favorites is a steamed seafood feast of scallops, shrimp, king crab, onions, potatoes, and corn served with cucumber and onions, iced tea and a big napkin. :)  It doesn't get any better than this thanks to Chef Roger. The next day we always have gumbo.

My portulaca hanging basket is looking pretty and can take the heat. I water it everyday, of course.

I like this double hibiscus. I managed to save it from being eaten alive by Japanese beetles. The main onslaught of those things is in June.

Always do your best. What you plant now, you will harvest later. Og Mandino
